FFA Mission

The mission of FFA is to make a positive difference in students’ lives by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth, and career success through agricultural education.

To Accomplish This Mission

The Frazier Mountain HS Agriculture/FFA program works to accomplish the FFA mission in the following ways:

  • It is an intracurricular student organization that develops competent and assertive agricultural leadership.
  • It includes the following three components:
    • Classroom instruction
      • public speaking
      • floral design
      • welding
      • cooking
      • horticulture
      • animal science
      • basic building
      • career exploration
      • industry field trips
      • guest speakers
    • Supervised Agriculture Experience (SAE)
      • run own business
      • work in an agriculture business
      • research and conduct an agricultural project
      • conduct record keeping for projects
    • Leadership skills
      • learn integrity
      • learn to take initiative
      • serve as an FFA officer
      • engage in community service
      • participate in a wide variety of FFA competitions
